Echoless Darkness
God went to bless me
Only to depress me
Thought my prayers would be vibrant
But my answers answered in silence
My heart should be brim
Instead it feels dim
My feelings hide in shadow
Like a dark hearted crow
I know death will be frigid
Even though I am wicked
Pictures in my mind so twisted
Dreams become really vivid
Haunts my visions with tyrant
Making it seem like an accident
Not sure I'll recover
Once they discover
The body I repress
In the ground, lifeless
I gave up the good fight
Only one will die tonight
The beating heart in the womb
Will be along very soon
A newborn, reborn in the night
Under the devilish moonlight
An innocent in distress
To live out of Echoless Darkness
'He' was covered all in red
Weakened, almost dead
As I lay here breathless
'It' came out of the darkness
The baby lets out a cry
I smile, waiting to die
'It' sways back and forth when 'It' moves
Closer and louder, I hear 'Its' hooves
The moonlight shines off 'Its' chest
The baby now in 'Its' arms, caressed
'Its' eyes stare down at me
Like it's setting my soul free
'It whispers, "It's okay. Let go."
Then disappears into shadow
Laying there about to take my last breath
I smile, welcoming death
I will not worry
I will not dwell
For 'He' will be the true King of Hell
