If only...

If only they could hold a plate of food so tight,
If only they could carry a glass full of water right,
If only those cuddles could set things right,
If only those smiles could make your day bright,
If only their looks could make everything alright,
If only things could seem light even if they were might,
If only people could see their love instead of fright....

If only they could ease your every burden out,
If only their licks could release all pain without any doubt,
If only solutions to all our problems would be their bhow bhow,
If only I had to chose between human and dogs now,
My pick up would be you for I know your choice is me clear and loud.....

What if being around you is a day's workout,
I have the liberty to be 'me'... with you throughout,
Our bond , our story....
Whether u are my pet or on street is a big sell out
To be able to love u is something I am allowed.
Whether on earth or in clouds..
My affection for you would be paramount...
Oh how I wish people could see your love instead of fright...
