Life

Helen W. Hunt 1945 (Hancock)

Life is as a puff of air, one blow and it isn`t there
You wonder, where did it go, the life you knew is no more

Gone from this earth, no longer to walk with us
It has returned to dust
The smiles are not there, gone like a puff of air

Do all you can to help your fellowman, while you yet live
and know, life is not yours to give
Enjoy life day by day, leave cherished memories for others
When you go away

About this poem

Due to the uproar of the world today, I decided to reprint this poem. I hope this poem will be a blessing to someone as we struggle to understand the chaos, we find in our lives today.
