My Addiction

My Addiction...                                        I force my self to admit.              I gotta have some or I'll throw a fit.                          Ok,  maybe I am exaggerating just a bit.      Just the same my addiction is legit.                    I say unto the world I am a holic.                                   It is the thing that every day gives me that kick.  Not one or two but three time a days does trick.       I never run out for fear of getting sick.                             This was no accident, this addiction I openly pick.        I am not the only person with this habit I have  I ever met.                                  Same as all you others, I have no regret.                                    Anyone wish to wager,  I will take that bet.                   I am not selfish with you I'll share if only you'll let.    There is nothing better to let go of a frown.                    It comes also in white but I prefer brown.                              It makes me happy and and so I clown.                               It is not hard to find in fact it's everywhere in town.                                             As long as I have some I never feel down.                             I am sure everyone has it wrong.                                           Makes me wanna beat on my chest like king Kong.        I am about to tell you, it won't be long.                                          In fact,  I will sing it in a song!                                                    "Hershey makes the very best.....  Chocolate'!      Jesse Wesley Bailey Jr.

What a bait 'n switch! I thought, for sure, it was about drug addiction; humorous, babbling, rap-like poetry. Well written, nonetheless. I like it.
