Always my brother
I looked upon this man I once called friend, a brother he was, I let him in. The pains we shared were deep, in the darkness we wept, embraced each other’s fears, closer than any blood family could get!
We shared our stories, troubling they were, at times hard to hear. Yet I held your spirit close and told you there was nothing to fear!
Did you forget? Do you no longer care? When you were away I sought you out, I held space for you, I stayed near!
A healer people say, a mystical man I am, I tried so hard to be your brother and friend! The warrior and sage, yet you disrespect me. A life long student I am, and you know that my friend, what I’ve done, where I’ve been; Maybe it’s you, who doesn’t know who I am!
These episodes show that the past doesn’t hold the same value to you, as it did to me. People change in a beat, so we must set ourselves free. My presence seems to be also forgotten, like that in a blink.
I bow my head to you in the last respects that I’ll give, it is not by my choice but what you said and did.
I have my tribe, my circle, a place you felt that you no longer fit, my heart aches because I wish that you did.
The dimensions call to me, to others I’ll inspire and help when in need. I’ll give them guidance and facilitate healing, as friends and masters once did for me. I extend my gratitude for what we once were. I walk with the Gods, while you walk with the earth. Thank you my friend for my last cleanse, you helped me so much, I’ll never forget, a friend for a while, my brother after death.
