Praising Greatness
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
All of Your works I shall thank You,
All of Your works I shall give praise;
All of Your saints bless what is true,
Your saints are praising You always.
They speak glory of Your Kingdom,
They shall tell of power and might;
Of all the knowledge and wisdom,
That you do bless with Your insight.
You make known to the sons of man,
Of all Your mighty acts and deeds;
The brilliant splendor of Your plan,
Your Kingdom caters to their needs.
Your Kingdom is everlasting,
Your dominion endures throughout;
Judgment to each one is casting,
That will never leave any doubt.
You are upholding of those who fall,
Raising up all who have bowed down;
For in prayer You answer the call,
Makes us smile from our frown.
All eyes are looking up to You,
Giving them their food in season;
Allowing the harvest that grew,
Enough to feed each citizen.
You satisfy as desired,
Of all living things with Your hand;
To sustain life as required,
Being spoken with Your command.
You are near to all who would call,
To all who call upon the truth;
Regardless being short or tall,
As an elder or in their youth.
You fulfill of the ones who fear,
You will hear their cries and will save;
When their confession is sincere,
You will rescue them from the grave.
You preserve all who displays love,
But judgment falls upon evil;
From the judgment seat up above,
You destroy works of the devil.
