Instructing Wisdom
Fret not about evildoers,
The workers of iniquity;
Not envious of pursuers,
The wrongs that Satan would decree.
For they will soon fade like the grass,
Wither and die like the green plant;
Like the heat of summer will pass,
And carried away by an ant.
Trust in the Lord so you do good,
Dwell in the land you will be fed;
Befriend faithfulness as you should,
And following as the Lord said.
So delight yourself in the Lord,
He will give you your desires;
Having a heart in one accord,
That intimacy requires.
Commit your way unto the Lord,
Trusting in Him and He will act;
He shall bring to pass to afford,
And you shall receive it intact.
He shall bring forth your righteousness,
And your justice as the noonday;
Blessing you with the lavishness,
As you continue to obey.
So be still and rest in the Lord,
As you wait patiently for Him;
Show that He is loved and adored,
And anoints with spiritual vim.
Fret not of the one to flourish,
In using an evil device
For in Heaven you must cherish,
Let nothing here on earth entice.
