Sunshine & Rainbows

When I was small,
Saw the world from rosy glasses.
Protected from all.
Didn't know life isn't
Just sunshine & Rainbows.

At times it's dark , at times scary.
At times storm & Thunder.
Like walking bare foot  
On a road full of shattered glass.

There is laughter but with pain,
Feels like a ship full of holes,
I try to mend & sail again.

Sometimes sun refuses to rise
N m lost in endless night
& Nightmares haunt me
Even if I fight .

But then again , I stick a smile
& Try to keep a brave face .
I keep on searching my old dream
My sunshine & rainbows deep within.
