Lowly

I am but a leaf in the wind
I die to my flesh within

I am but a page in a book
Most will never see for they never look

I am but dust in the air
To the mountains I can’t compare

I am but a splinter in a tree
Part of something bigger is all I’ll ever be

I am but a star in the sky
Like the rest one day I will die

I am but a drop in the sea
Yet I am everything You have made me to be
