That Feeling

That Feeling
By Moses Seiber

Tender love,
Tender care,
As snowflakes,
Flow in the air,
Giving gifts,
Of a smile,
With soft twinkles,
In the  eyes,
Flowing slowly and softly,
As the ice gives a glide,
'Cross it sweetly and smoothly,
Giving the feel of the sky,
Taking breaths,
Along with hearts,
As evening creeps,
And lights start,
Bringing afloat,
The joy in the air,
And feels of forever,
As the time holds the care,
Of moments together,
Under cover in arms,
Bringing close to the eyes,
Dreaming embraced by dazzling stars,
Giving to hold,
As it creeps,
And enlightens,
The sweet meets,
Of delight as we go,
To the tree hand in hand,
Exchanging every moment,
Given by this woman and man,
This day never forgotten,
As it's first we have seen,
The meaning of that birth,
Of Christ our Savior is received.

About this poem

Written on Thursday December 9, 2021 at work while listening to Will Downing's song, "Christmas,  Love and You".  And it gave me that feeling so I had to stop working and start writing.  It made me to picture in my mind a black man smiling in the middle of winter time along with him and his wife together spending time.   Out, ice skating, dancing and eating.   At home cuddling together with his arm over her as they went to sleep.  Then waking up the next morning on Christmas Day and going to the tree exchanging gifts.   And giving thanks andembra event of the true meaning of Christmas.   The birth of Christ.
