In my Head

Do you see him?
I know it's quite dim
He's standing right next to me
He can be quite scary
I can hear him creep
Waking me up as I'm falling asleep
He threatens me all day
Saying he'll take me away
I know he'll hurt me too
But I can't tell and warn you
Cause you can't see him
Right through him you'll skim
The doctor thinks I'm crazy
Maybe it's true, it all seems quite hazy
But you would be just as scared
If you could see as he stared
I'm glad you can't see him as I do
Don't worry he won't touch you
He lives in my head as it happens to be
And will only end up harming me
