Life As It Is

If I was to die
Nobody would dare cry
Not even one year would be shed
I guess life would be better if I was dead
I've never cared what people thought
My life has been a hard and painful one fought
They said these thoughts I have are wrong
I know my heart and mind must be strong
Because suicide has always been a welcomed plan
But taking my own life would make me less of a man
So instead self mutilation is the way I go
All the pain, anger, hate, and depression disappear as the blood flows
Living with these psychotic thoughts everyday in my head
Would make any sane person wish they were dead
