There’s a bright light

For musicians everywhere

There’s a bright light

By Ray Tenent
There’s a bright light at the end of this tunnel waiting just for  you
An audience so hungry for every chord you do
A spotlight focused on your place on that hallowed stage
empty venues that requires a practised  musical sage
So tune up your instrument warm up your voice
For you must know your blessed if music is your choice
You’ve paid your dues you’ve played all the gigs you didn’t want do
So now’s your time be creative you have the time work  on something new
Clear your head blow out all that dark depression
Remember all those highlights some
Unexpected praise that you received from a  a well paid session

Know is not the time to give up on your
Long  held Dream at all
For soon this all will be over   be ready for that certain call
The halls will fill up again with an audience hurting to applause
there is a nation out there who have
Also had to put their lives on pause
Lovers with no special song that only they can share
A broken heart that only the right live song can repair
Play that beat make us all get up and dance
You have the power to even create a  new romance
So come on guys find that key and let yourself in to life
And be ready to play again and tune out
All that  unwanted strife
