Leaves! All over
Adorning the earth
Of different shapes, size and colors
No two are similar
A beauty to behold
A beauty largely neglected
Holds with it seeds, flowers, fruits
Swaying happily on the branch
Staying together in all seasons
Dancing with breezy winds on its face
So soothing a sight
Makes one happy with a glimpse
Come autumn….. Time to depart
Destined to wither in different directions
Never to meet again
It doesn’t matter anymore
Because staying together till then
Was a celebration of life, of being there, of joy, of shared responsible moments
Irrespective of beautiful or harsh seasons
It was a full life lived with a graceful goodbye !
