The Moon peeking through the window pane

Awakened confused about night or day
to see a bright Moon peeking through the window pane
It was so close I could reach it with my hand
For a few seconds it was just me and the Moon
it was mine
Then a bird broke the spell
And when I looked again the Moon was far away

About this poem

I was awakened by an intense light at dawn.
