Equality
Kimberly Ann Hogan LeBlanc 1978 (Worcester)
The sun will burn, and the moon can shine,
It doesn’t matter all skin tones are fine.
No matter the color of Pale, brown, black, or white,
That is no reason for us to fight.
We all feel and we all bleed,
We all have mouths to feed.
We all live, and we all die,
When it’s to late we all ask why?
Your heart beats just like mine,
We all should walk a straight line.
Family or friends it doesn’t matter,
Everyone should just stop the chatter.
We are all people that are unique,
No matter what your physique.
Coming together is all we can do,
It doesn’t matter for what, why or who.
All that matters is we live, laugh and love
Not push, fight, or shove.
We are all the same on the inside,
No reason anyone should have to hide.
Treat each other how you want to be treated,
Don’t talk behind backs that makes people feel defeated.
We are all the same but still so different,
Males, Females we are all magnificent.
Don’t discriminate.
