The Birds

The birds, see them stare from the power lines
Somehow, they are not electrocuted
That’s because they are charging over time,
The energy source is now computed

They spy on you, tracking your every move--
They have cameras in their soulless eyes
You musn’t be cruel, the birds must approve
They can scan you and see past your white lies

As of now, you know of their influence
Don’t run, there is no way for you to hide
You cannot withhold any resistance
You have to obey, you have to abide
