To Love

Love plays its prowess to pain,
To love is to let go…
Letting go hoping of a return one day.

Though to wait is pinning hope in air,
Sweet smiles and blushing cheeks.

I wrote your name in the air,
The winds caressed them in deep, slow silence,
Rolling in the dark, emotions wild,
I lie down awaiting fairytale days,
Immortality becomes mortal’s bliss…

Even kings bow in reverence to love;
Alas! If anyone could capture her!
I lie down awaiting fairytale days,
Gazing at stars go by, trembling and cold.
