Bad Energy

R.J. Bernard 2007 (Massachusetts)

Bad energy,
No serenity, all negative emotion collides into one piece.
there is no peace
false hope, no escape, from thy pain I hate

never calm, just jittery, tranquility is a false hope of prosperity
yell, yell, yell
why did I go to hell?
Bells ring, I can’t see straight, freight train of nervousness, tension.
So loud, with no noise
This dark cloud, encumbers me
Just a fumbler, no singer.
Bad energy, it surrounds me
Back around the train yard,
The guard stumbles, however, words just fumble

Heart pace goes dark,
Long beep ahead, sick of the life I lead,
What do I need?
School, school, school
It goes and goes, forever flawed and annoying
Irritating white noise, fight my inner demons that bully me.
Hate will never win, will it forgive?
Just lie, lie, lie
I’m okay, just sane
In, out, in, out
Lungs are getting heavy,
New chevy broke, need a cloak
To hide away my real thoughts
New page, lost in space
Need to find a pace, that I can keep up with

Oh, oh, oh
Woah, woah, woah
No, no, no
Bad energy
Takes over,
As I am blind
To thy truth
Of my own fate.
I wanna go back to when I was eight
Play some super games
Why am I the way I am?
Happiness strikes me in waves
I’m okay, I’m okay
I’m okay, I’m okay
My inner mind shall decay,
And I don’t even blame it
Because emotions are controlling
No, I’m not rolling
Rolling where?
I just need some care
So, forgotten
So, broken
My eyes losing focus
I just to pay attention,
That’s what I’m told.
I like life, not love
Because life gave me, and take me
A family sits,
Missing the mom
My mind fogs
Just another cog
Everything’s so blurry
I hate having to worry
My friends, do they control me?
No idea who I am, what I am
Smoking, turns into choking
Throat to dry to comprehend
Will I face the end will a smile?
Or will I die with a hostile life
With no one left to give
I forgive
All that have wronged me
I no longer need coffee
To keep myself awake
Just awake
To witness the never-ending abyss called
Life
