Nod
Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)
People nod everyday
Then people ask What?, as if they had something to say
In a way its like they pray
Like a bow accepted by an angel on its way
Experiencing the bow is to curtsy
Like an angel child on stage in full mercy
Innocent as the very day it was born
Full of fear and from the belly, torn.
Then accepted into worldly arms with soothing milk and endless charms.
