I sit here alone in a thought
reclaiming me I am glad I fought
deconstructing what i was taught
love and acceptance is what I sought
I sit here alone and happy to say
God accepts me for being this way
let my heart no longer fray
let me learn to live in a happy way
I sit here alone happy to reclaim
bad religon is to blame
God is Love no more shame
not the bigotry they brought to
fame
