I met you
Jason Marriner 1980 (Pensacola)
I was born a bastard son
Spent most of my life on the run
Didn't spend too long in one town
Never could find anywhere to settle down
That was before I met you
I took one look in your eyes and knew
My past didn't matter no more
You gave me feelings I couldn't ignore
Once I held you in my arms I knew
I was home, here with you
Once you looked into my eyes
I swear it was all that I could do
To remember all that I'd been through
Yes, seeing your smile, hearing your laugh
Took all my pain away, made me forget my past
Looking in your eyes, I see my paradise
Wherever you are is where I'm gonna be, no thinking twice
