Aleph
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Bless those whose way is blameless,
Walking in the Law of the Lord;
Undefiled and shameless,
Remaining in one accord.
To keep His testimony,
Seeking Him with your whole heart;
Commit to your memory,
Always able to impart.
Never do iniquity,
Rather walk upon His path;
Keep His Law diligently,
For avoidance of His wrath.
Be steadfast upon His ways,
By keeping all His statute;
Never be the one that strays,
That causes God to refute.
You shall not be put to shame,
Having your eyes on His Law;
Showing respect to proclaim,
Answer Him if He would call.
Praise Him with an upright heart,
Learning of His righteous rules;
All temptations you must thwart,
Avoiding the lure that fuels.
His Word a lamp to His feet,
Statutes that never forsake;
Never has any conceit,
Nor worship anything fake.
