Meet Me There

MEET ME THERE

Far from the madding crowd,
Where their shouts and curses become distant,
Muted, and transformed to soothing love songs.

Where shackles are broken
And prisoners freed, where sentences
And contracts are unsealed, like birds uncaged.

Let us fly to that secret place
Where roses bloom, stars shine,
And the scent of lavender fills the air.

Where terror and fright
May be melted while enwrapped
In warm hands, hot hugs, and passionate kisses.

Where doubt and confusion
May be cleared with liberation,
That only the blending of twin souls know of.

Where love cannot be silenced,
Where every second is forever,
But forever is too short.

Where there is no space or time,
Only unfathomable bliss, rainbows, and union
Of long departed halves, meet me there.
