I heard them speak
Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)
The world in one, the heavens in the other
Such calm stealth they spoke to one another
As if they had talked an eternity together
One knew the way and so did the other
So much to say as they spiraled forever
Their hearts were as one no matter whatever
I listened so hard but hardly could I gather
Their language so ancient I lost every tether
Then they looked around to share this with others
