Skin-Colored Tattoo

Ah, yes, darling, tell me the stars are still there,
Up the night sky, the flame, where is it?
Will it smile as I pass by or will it grin?
Will the moon lose luminous like I used to care?

Ah, yes, I am a sunken ship in the middle of a desert,
I am where you find it disgusting to kiss my lip,
Can I not smile nor wrap my arms around you?
I am freezing in comfort and this blood is raw.

Darling, my pulses begin snapping apart,
My breath has gotten toxic and I don't devour bitter fluids,
I am immune to pain I can paint on canvas made of skin,
Grip my wrist, decorated with lifeless art.

Ah, yes, my days are near the edge,
Of an object that triggers my limbs,
To collapse, I'll be happy then,
Darling, let me go like how I do so.
