SUFFOCATING OXY

I might not be what everyone expected me to be
But I'm the burning coal left under plain surfaces
Exhaling all the suffocating oxy I breathed in

I might not hold onto things everyone asked me to hold onto
But I hold onto people who poured gasoline on my good memories
Holding too tight to lose the grip within seconds

I might not be the one you'd love for a long time
But I'm the setting sun people watch to ease their pain
The solid pain they kept inside for too long so that nobody could realise that they're weak

About this poem

This poem is referred to a girl who was too nice to deal with the world that's full of hate and fake promises. But when she realised her worth she wrote about it and amazed everyone with her calibre.
