The Lost Baby Bird

Dear baby bird use your wings and fly home,
Mamma is worried about you being all alone,
Dear baby bird be strong don't cry,
Mamma's been awake all day and night,
Dear Mamma bird it's okay be strong,
I know your child's been gone for all too long,
Dear Momma bird it's okay your child's alright,
But Mamma bird said I'll be searching tonight,
And then night came and Mamma bird began to search,
She searched in the sky and she searched on the earth,
She was about to give up and put the search to an end,
But then she saw her baby bird again,
Baby bird said "Mamma, I can't fly",
Mamma bird stopped and asked him why,
He said his wings were tired after flying all alone,
So Mamma bird lifted him and carried him home,
