Want of Words

Jyothi Singh

Blank verse
Want of Words
 I was killed with
Weighed weapon of words
And left to live. Dead!
A body lifeless and
Semi souled mind
Moved weary
For want of death.
Hours to days
Days to years
Wry seasons
That never passed
Deserted air breaths wrath
My longings could win
Just 'wants' for more words

About this poem

Words hurt more than weapons. There are people who survive them, live but lifeless
