اے چاند تیرا دکھ میں سمجھ سکتا ہوں
میں بھی یہاں اکیلا کھڑا ہوں
تو فلک پہ تنہا ہے
میں زمیں پہ اکیلا
توُ ستاروں سے گھیرا
میں لوگوں میں گھیرا
نہ میرا دکھ کوئی سمجھ سکا
نہ تیرا غم ہے کوئی تول سکا
