Ya nuni naskia,mnavu nanukia,
Wari mboga nabugia,heko shangwe meridhia
umbo zuri kuvutia,pia mwili hukua,
Tulinde yetu afya,kwa kupata lishe bora,.
Tulinde yetu afya,Ndizi nyama na matoke,
mseto wehu au funda,boboro,muswa tuweke,
nguvu kazi huleta,taifa Kenya Makeke,
Tulinde yetu afya,kwa kupata lishe bora
mngazija tapata kimanga,izu tapata kinolo,
gwere,tsafe na mutsunga,tamu Sana lo!loo!
lishe bora tutaunga,ngozi nawiri na pilao,

The poem is in Swahili wordings with some Giriama_Mijikenda words in it. It is about nutrition and different categories of food mainly;carbohydrates,protein and vitamins. It was meant to educate family on the need of balance diet.
