LIVING IN DEATH
LIVING IN DEATH
When your time for transition is right
And you close your eyes into the night
Will you die, really die?
Or will your good deeds keep you alive?
Will your name then still remain
A song on the lips of those you once smiled to?
Music in the mouth of someone you once inspired too?
When you close your eyes in this world
And cease to draw breath from your lungs
Will you leave behind a spark that would lead a fellow on the right aright?
Will your words in time past be an adrenaline
That will surge someone forward towards a just goal?
Will you cease to live in death
Or will you live on even after you're gone??
