My Friend, Time

Sometimes I look into space
And wish I could set the pace
Time is a silent aged killer
When you make him your pillow
He just sits there waiting
Never deciding
I heard time is a healer
True, no need for denial
But now I take my case
Make my own ways
And got the grace
Time with a smile on his face
"I told you so" says he
But I was determined
And moved on
And though it took me so long
I hope time won't prove me wrong.
