T.L.E.
I don't know why you try to keep your thoughts all bottled up-
It just seems like you're back on the edge again you hostel f*ck-
People try to come inside my life and spread a lot of love-
But they just don't understand it's no one's fault it's not enough-
No concept of, what these seizures really do my thoughts erupt-
The throttle's stuck, no matter what I do I just can't stop the rush-
My noggin floods, I'm trapped inside my head and don't accomplish much-
Get lost with drugs, before I slip away I'll need a stronger buzz-
To conquer what's, been straight ahead of me up through this fog in front-
With rotten luck, I keep on reachin' out for all these hollow hugs-
Tomorrow comes, I try to find a place to go let Josh adjust-
My problems suck, and I don't want to feel that fear that follows trust-
In god above, cause see he never answers back that bothers us-
I'm honest but, my family questions where I get my knowledge from-
Like watch it son, you better shut your mouth because your logic's dumb-
I've offered blood, I've poured my soul into this life I've fought for crumbs-
Exhausted lungs, and I'll stay speakin' truth until my coffin's shut-
Beyond the dust, so you can visit me in any song I've done-
A monster's touch, I'll live forever I'll stay rockin' concerts bruh-
Preposterous, back from the dead returning just to haunt you punks-
About this poem
This poem is basically how I feel inside my soul living with T.L.E. (Temporal Lobe Epilepsy). My confident side mixed with trying convincing my doubtful side to keep pushing back at my seizures, and NEVER give up!
