The Lost And Broken Love
In the lonely world,
connection somehow, just somehow, persists.
Lucky when they have, beautiful when filtered.
Or, standing and fighting alone,
settled with things they have,
we’ll never know how, never,
waiting isn’t evergreen, it takes forever.
Life fades, eventually turns into nothing.
Life is colourful, with your crayons in hand.
It doesn’t rain forever, nor does your misery or precious tears,
it isn’t a flower road, even roses have thorns.
Acceptance is what it takes, else, life is hindered.
When I kneel down in front of the mirror,
same action is manifested to me, how lovely,
we’re not worshiping others, but ourselves,
that’s the power of self love.
Never halt till someone lights your life,
you are victorious,
with your own company.
But with company, never really felt the agony,
nor the darkness.
Refined when best, sweeter the rest,
but when dark side attests, it’s all a quest.
Suddenly, the candles blow out,
what do I with my dreary life?
such a gleaming love it was,
darkness spreads out of nowhere,
all wishes and expectations are now melted,
my eyes are not used to it,
it’s unbearable,
started so beautiful, ended so sorrowful.
Life is full of uncertainties,
emptiness doesn’t seem to depart anymore,
everything feels so meaningless, I cry,
I am nothing now, negligence has taken all over me.
deep as crater, the feeling lies,
still can’t believe,
are they really no more? They cry,
drenched with tears, they ask why?
all lovely memories pass by, making it cumbersome.
The beautiful world is incapable of it,
voidness seems permanent, crumbles the reason to live.
“I have been living for you”
“there is no point to live”
“I’m nothing without you…”
“you were beautiful, you will always be..”
About this poem
This poem was written to feel the loss of a loved one, how the pain radiates and brings tears to every single individual. Imagine, how it would be to spend time, with loved one, that too forever? its beautiful isn't it? But unforeseen circumstances steal the joy. The poem highlights three different types of people, the one who is loved, the one who is neutral about his feelings and refrains from love, and other scenario, which you can guess, is deeply saddening. Also, love (self-love or loving someone with pure intentions) is eternal. more »
