Vain and Vanity
We live in a world that is so vain
Looking at yourself in a mirror with a camera flash
Commenting on others like you don’t have a past
Liking and sharing content
But in real life you dislike and is selfish, makes me want to vomit
Spend hours upon hours browsing, lounging
But won’t spend hours upon hours flourishing
My grandmother use to sip tea literally
Now sipping tea or spilling tea is gossiping literally
The world is moving while we are asleep
Meaning that the world doesn’t stop for no one
Not even if you are God’s son
This life is not the eternal life that we all dream about
Where everything is bright, clean, and there are endless mountains of flowers
It’s the physical form of choice , trials, lessons and meaningless people with power
Give yourself the best version of you
You’ve come too far to be anyone’s fool
Remember we live in a world where vanity is more important than sanity
The truth doesn’t matter when the lie is more entertaining
So put yourself first and claim it
