The Woman

Rachelle Gothe 1991 (Lafayette,LA)

I'm the woman who bears a child,

even in the mist of things going wild,

I'm the woman who cries when no one's around,

but still has the strength to fix her crown,

I'm the woman who played the fool,

deep down inside I knew it wasn't cool,

I'm the woman who works hard,

grateful for my job, thanks to the lord,

I'm the woman whose broken,

stayed strong, won't catch me folding,

I'm the woman whose growing,

I see ya sis, don't stop, keep glowing!
