STANDINGBEAR

As a purple rain falls over the Indian plains I saw in the distance an Indian brave standing in front of a bear. At any moment the bear could have killed him but instead the bear seemed to understand the Indian. In one steady motion the Indian raised his arm and the bear arose standing almost like a man. As i watched, The Indian seemed to be gazing into the bears eyes and as the towering bear looks down upon the Indian it seemed to be gazing back. Then the Indian placed his hand upon the bears broad chest just over its heart then bear gently placed its massive paw onto the Indians shoulder as if they were saying good-bye to each other. Then the Indian lowered his arm and the bear dropped back down to all fours turned and then ran back into the darkening shadows of the land. Now as the Indian stood there waving I thought I heard him say "I'll see you again soon StandingBear, I'll see you again soon."
