Dunno
Jeff Patry 1976 (Nebraska)
One day an acorn,
The next day, an oak.
One day a hero,
The next day, a goat.
One day a child,
The next an adult.
One day, an old man
Houses your soul.
And when the soul leaves you,
Where does it go?
Hey, you dumb f****r,
I'd have to be dead to know.
About this poem
You get aging, then you get some tribulations, then you get death, then you get philosophy. And it's pretty short.
