THEY TOLD ME THAT I COULDN'T SO I DID IT TWICE
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
They said to me back in school hey kid you will never go to college you are not even smart enough to be a garbage man, I replied what is wrong with those that work their fingers to the bone that will be me you are just an asshole with a degree.
I have always been doubted because I do not learn the same I taught myself everything that I wanted to learn as I burned their sesame street lesson plan. yes we are different we all had our own learning disabilities but the freaks and misfits united when push came to shove.
I lucked out I had my disability and mental illness
so people were always talking shit saying look at stupid look at the madman, where are the crayons and straitjacket?
Look at me now and all that I overcame,I do not point fingers even though it is a society that I blame
All I say is f*ck you
they told me that I couldn't so I did it twice their judgment could have put hatred in my heart and make me cold as ice but all it did was put a smile on my face after all things that I did
