Reflections

These mirrors all reflect the places
I’ve already been
And somewhere in this mess of faces ;
My image bound in skin

I’m looking the jumbled pictures
Lost inside the glass
Alone between these crystal fixtures
Staring down the past

For how long has this flesh been bound here
Chained to cyclic birth?
At last I know my one true fear:
That time has lost its worth

Perpetually into the void
Reflecting on and on
When nothing’s gained but all’s destroyed
Then hope is dead and gone
