The Heart’s Paradox: Torn between Love and Pain
A young heart, torn apart,
By the past and pull of love and pain’s art.
One brings solace, the other despair,
Choosing one over the other, a heart’s delicate care.
Love brings comfort, and pain brings tears,
Both have the power to conquer one’s fears.
Love mends wounds, pain leaves scars,
Choosing one over the other, a burden on the heart.
The young heart struggles to comprehend,
Why these two forces, it must bend.
Why can’t love be the only thing,
And pain be gone, like a bird taking wing.
But life is complex, and nothing is clear,
Both love and pain, they always appear.
Tangled together, like strands in a knot,
A heart’s journey, with love and pain as its lot.
So the young heart must find its way,
Through the maze of love and pain each day.
Choosing love, even in pain’s embrace,
For love is the light, that will bring peace to the race.
For love is stronger, and love will endure,
Pain will fade, like a forgotten cure.
So hold on tight, to love’s warm light,
And let pain’s darkness, fade into night.
For love is the balm, for a heart’s ache,
And pain is the test, of love’s strength to take.
So choose love, and let it guide,
Your heart through life, with love by its side.
