Magnificence of Love

All the poems that speak of love,
The songs that profess it's glory
Are a grain of sand in the ocean
Compared to the genuine story.

The bright heavens seemed to dim
Majestic mountains appeared so small.
The pyramids became diminutive
Within the splendor of it all.

Michelangelo's paintings were watercolors
The suns rays could do no harm.
The oceans were a speck of water
The day my son was placed in my arms.
