The Dead Sing

Torrents of hate
Help create paintings of death
Even the gods can’t undo
Destruction of this magnitude
Everything is left shattered
After the storm
Dead men tell no tales but
Some certainly sing
If none are around to hear
Nothing can bring back what’s lost, but
Ghostly ballads of nostalgia help to remember
