When Research

When research had gone as far

as it could go for them

they stopped

and sat on it.

And fought over it

and spat on it.

They didn't stop,

they would not quit

the small, a small light had clicked --

pieces to a huger, bigger puzzle

waited, lying around them.

Dropped now and then --

by visitors old and new,

God was leading them, some

to the truth.

And only some stopped

to really listen and see.  They saw

kept seeing, kept reading,

still prayng they were learning -- they followed

the Teacher's footprints.

And left the stopped and the sat behind them

for they were of another World

and place, or going to.  Not many recognized

them for what they were

once they had gone beyond the bounds

where others had stopped, now sat,

now stood for all of that --

but no further, no different.

No one could pass the sitting by --

in the Night, with darkness unnoticed,

they would let out a small or mighty cry!

For they did not sit like them, but walked

they did not sound like them, but talked.

They had not stopped with them --

all on the same forks of the broad road in a maze,

growing smaller now,

with countless endless dayz past.

On a road to heaven, they continued -- on.
