The Demon Of the Woods
On a Cold night, in my comfy chair, I began to feel quite Bothered
Sitting alone, in the comfort of my home, without my mother and father.
But I’m perfectly fine alone right now, lying by myself.
There's a BB gun underneath my bed, and a smoke bomb on the shelf.
Why am I scared? I’ll tell you now, but I’m telling you beware.
The demon hiding in the woods, and his hideous, haunting Glare.
Eyes like fire, and Teeth like knives, he prays on the lost and takes their lives
Tall black and slender, like a crooked dark oak,
And if you listen really closely, you can hear his evil Croak
His arms and legs Contorted, to slink among the trees.
He hears all sounds, including yours, Pray that you don’t sneeze.
He’s quite hard to notice, even with his horns.
His claws are sharp and bloody, and will pierce your skin like thorns.
But I’m not all that worried, afterall, why should I.
As long as you’ve got some salt and pepper
He’ll likely pass you by.
Anyone could catch him
I don’t see how they could
Everyone knows to fear him
The Demon In woods.
