Mystery and Victory
I will tell you a mystery.
We shall not be able to sleep;
And part of our victory,
That will be causing joy to leap.
We shall all appear to transform,
Within a twinkling of an eye;
Being rebirth in a new norm,
When you hear the trumpet will cry.
When you hear the last trumpet sound,
All of the dead will have risen;
Their journey will be Heaven bound,
Where a coffin did imprison.
A body imperishable,
And having immortality;
No longer as corruptible,
Filled with spirituality.
Death is swallowed in victory,
No longer death has any sting;
Because the grave is history,
Only goodness can the Lord bring.
For the sting of death comes from sin,
The power of sin is the Law;
Thanks to God new life will begin,
Without fear of taking a fall.
Victory comes from Jesus Christ,
In your labor is not in vain;
Letting not earthly things enticed,
For desires will cause you pain.
