I love you
Love, L-o-v-e, Love
Love is a four letter, one syllable word
Love is the most overused word in the english language
Love is not what it once was
Love is the word I said to you
Love, to some means sex
Love, to some means marriage
Love, to some means money
Love has been tainted by the world
Love is the word I said to you
Love gets people power
Love gets people position
Love gets people satisfaction
What happened to love getting people happiness
Love is the word I said to you
Love is the word dad says to mom when he leaves the house
Love is the word Grandpa says to Grandma when their fight is over
Love is what my sister says to her new fiance
Love is the first word I heard coming into this world
Love is the word I said to you
Love gives people a purpose
Love gives people a goal
Love gives people a mission
But love gives me family
Love is the word I said to you
Love, people say to their friends
Love, people say say to their enemies
Love, people say to anyone
Keep your friends closer but your enemies closer
But how close is close
Love, I do not over use
Love, I have never said to another in this way
Love, took me eight years to tell my grandparents
Love, I don’t rush to
Love, I told to you
Love is broken in this world
Love is the spark that starts war
Love has been a lie for so many
Love is a trust mosts people no longer have
Love is the word I said to you
Love, to me means family
Love, to me means forever
Love, to me means a bond that can never break
Love, to me means you
That is why I say I love you
Love, L-o-v-e, Love
Love is a four letter, one syllable word
Love is the word I will say most to you
Love is what we make it to be
Love is the word I will never stop saying to you
About this poem
I told a girl I love her. I've never told anyone I love them. To me love means something that it doesn't to most. I don't tell people it unless I mean it. I mean it to her.
