Imagine
Imagine waking up oneday and your life has changed unimaginably
The place you call home is no longer home
The people you’ve spent the past few years with are gone
And it is just you, all alone
Imagine the weight of the world on your shoulders
The place you felt most comfortable is now colder
The people you love compare you to a cyclone
And it is just you feeling isolated in a corner
Imagine feeling the overwhelmness of a shattered heart
The place you know has fallen apart
The person you love has to depart
And it is just me, looking for a new start
About this poem
I lost my gf of 2.5 years suddenly and my whole world has been crushed since November 2021.
