I AM YOUR FLAG

Will you not cry for me with Dread
As your forefathers have, how sad
Will you not remember the dead
As they raise me high above their heads
Will you so soon forget that I mean so much to you
Look up at me as I wave red, white and blue
Look upon me and remember me when I’m with you
In your memorials, parades, and ceremonies
As we stand side by side as we bury our country men
Who freely gave their lives
Fought for our Freedom as they left their wives
So will you so easily let those who forget
Spit on me, discard me, burn me with No Regret
Remember with Pride What We Stand For
Even if it is right there where you are
Remember Me as I fly High and FREE
On All your Poles, For ALL to See
I AM YOUR FLAG!
Are you NOT MY COUNTRY?
